More about Microblading.

WHAT IS MICROBLADING?

Microblading is a form of semi-permanent makeup which is still seen as fairly new in the UK and is growing increasingly popular by demand for our hectic, busy lifestyles.

Natalie was one of the first to offer microblading in Exeter.

Microblading delivers pigment into the upper layers of skin by hand without the need for a machine. The pigment doesn't go as deep as a conventional tattoo so colour fades over the months that follow from treatment. Top ups are required to keep your brows, lips or eye makeup looking freshly applied. This is normally required at approximately 12months ,however colour fade varies from person to person and can be determined by skin type, sunexposure, health and lifestyle factors. Sometimes more than one top up may be needed.

Microblading is great for giving natural hairstrokes to enhance your brows, fill in gaps from over plucking, change and add shape and depth and even create a brow from scratch for anyone who has lost their brows completely through illness, medication or just age as brows naturally thin as we get older.

Microblading is also used along the lash line to give eyeliner and lash enhancement as well as lip line, definition and blush.

WHY HAVE MICROBLADING?

Microblading is used to give brows, lips and eyes definition, colour and enhancement to your facial features, without the worry of smudging, running makeup saving you time and effort to your daily routine and giving confidence when you have no make up on. Other factors include:

  • Great for allergy sufferers (to make-up or pollen)
  • Hair loss
  • Adding definition and colour that lasts
  • For holidays, water sports when makeup can get in the way
  • Professions where makeup isn't allowed or practical like nurses, P.E teachers etc

  • People that don't have the confidence, skills or eyesight to apply their own makeup.
